With the latest release of SPOT you now have access to latest and most advanced features to automate and run your business. A few of these features are noted below:

Added - Time Clock "Prompt for Shift Start Time"

  • Prompt your employees when using time clock to enter the correct "Shift Start Time" when they clock in.  New reporting allows you to monitor the staffs clocking in early.

Added - Customer Information Slip

  • Prints out an information slip every "X" visits by the customer that includes the customers name, address, phone and email information.  This gives you a tool for you and your staff to verify and keep your customers information up to date.

Added - HSL / Itemtrac Label Reservation

  • You now have the ability to preprint HSL / ItemTrac labels and assign them to a specific customer.  This is primarily used in the restoration process when tagging garments on site during pack out.

Enhanced - PCI DSS 1.2 Compliance

  • Change in the creation and management of Encryption keys used when storing employee PIN and Password, customer PIN and password and Credit Card on file data

Added -  Reporting

  • "Incoming Summary - Revised", "Incoming Detail - Summary", "Outgoing Summary - Revised", "Outgoing Detail - Revised" reports have been added.  These reports all remove $0.00 priced items from piece counts.  An example is a VIP bag, upcharges or any other item that has a piece count and are a $0.00 price will not be included in piece counts in these reports.
    • "A/R Account Balances - Combined" report to A/R folder of Reports Gallery.  This report groups accounts only by billing group; and does not group by store.
    • Time Clock Wage  -  ADDED - "A/R Account Balances - Combined" report to A/R folder of Reports Gallery.  This report groups accounts only by billing group; and does not group by store.
    • "Time Clock Wages Report" to Time Clock folder of Reports Gallery.  This calculates the user's estimated pay based upon their hourly and overtime rates in Setup -> Users/Groups/Rights and the overtime settings in Store -> Timeclock Settings.
    • Coupons by Description - Visit Totals - Allows you to view what the customer brought in with the specific coupon and purchased along with the coupon allowing you to quickly verify if a coupon is bringing in the business you expect.

Enhanced - Customer Email

  • Customer email addresses now have the option of being required at customer sign up
  • Emails are validated as they are entered. This assists in keeping your email address list accurate
  • Updated the customer "Invalid Email" report to include the xx@xx.xx format.
  • Logic to wait for all orders in visit to be ready before email is sent
  • Tokens for DueDate, DueVisit and DueToday

New - A/R Payment Email Confirmation

  • Send an email to the customers with defined email addresses for payments posted and / or credit card transactions that have been declined.

New - Dashboard

  • Provides anywhere access to your companies information via Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome or Firefox
  • View realtime production, lot manager, sales and reporting
  • Direct access to the spot SPOT messaging system
  • Map customer via Google maps. Includes color keys for customer trends in dollars, visits and orders
  • Graph your production, pickups, drop offs and labor hours by department or security group

New - Calendar and Scheduling

  • You now have access to an integrated calendar and scheduling tool.  This can be used to schedule restoration, drapery or any other time based services.   

New - Customer Rating Options

  • You now have the abillity to configure and apply a color to a specific customer ratings.  This color will be displayed at the time of customer lookup and in any other areas of SPOT that have the customer view avaialble.
  • You can now print customer rating information on Invoices, bag tags, quick visit and receipts.
  • You may now see "Customer Ratings" information during customer lookup and  on customer view.  Colors are user definable by rating.

New - Assisted Assembly Logic and Reporting

  • Enhanced Item status updates with "On assembly" and "Bay Location" on the item level, assembly and lot manager screens similar to the automated assembly screen updates
  • Advanced messaging from the assembly bay announcing item assembly discrepancies
  • Ability to split items from orders on screen in the assembly bay

New - Charity Reporting

  • Report and track your customer charity programs with ease.  Use a date range to find all orders and dollars assigned to a charity program. This makes easy work of reporting on charity activity.

Updated - Batch Markin

  • Used for quick and easy detailing / markin of orders with associated heat seal labels.  This was designed to work with hotel or uniform work .  Simply scan items from multiple people and SPOT will generate the proper orders. 

New - Hotel Configuration

  • Ability to display all invoice item details on a hotel manifest

New - Coupon Options

  • Lifetime "Max Usage" count in coupon definition.  This will enforce the  use of a predefined number of uses for a coupon per customer
  • Coupon reports in detail or summary mode selectable by coupon
  • "Coupon Summary - Combined" report

 New - Iowa Techniques conveyor support

  • Support for Iowa auto assembly conveyors

New - White Conveyor conveyor support

  • Support for White auto assembly conveyors

Updated - Batch HSL Markin process

  • When using HSL this options allows you to detail an order at the front counter and later apply and associate the HSL tags to the detailed garments.

New - Production Status View

  • This is a tool that allows the detailed viewing of stores and process steps within the stores.  You can now see in a single screen the quantity of all items in Assembly, Bagging, Detail, Hotel Rack and Quick.  You can also select what departments you would like to view.

New - New countries added to localization list

  • Mexico, Botswana, Malaysia and Hong Kong have been added to localities supported by SPOT.  This allows customers to run SPOT in 15 countries localized to support the local date, time and currency.  These localities include Australia, Canada, England, Ireland, Kuwait, New Zealand, Scotland, United Kingdom, United States, Wales.

Updated - Route Functionality

  • Enhanced bag scan logic to allow you to verify that a bag picked up from a customer has been detailed
  • "Bag Scan History" button has been added to the route tab in customer view
  • Enhanced reporting to support bag scan logic
  • Enhanced tokens to be used on bag tags including, email address, phone, pickup data and delivery data from the customer route tab
  • Invoice history now shows bag scan
  • Route specific auto-adjustments can be added at quick or detail - This can be used for Fuel service charges for both Routes and Hotels
  • Option to print "Bag Tags" or "Empty Quicks" for all customers on a current manifest
  • Configure Driver Name and Driver Phone per route with token available on invoices and bag tags 

Updated - Automated Assembly Conveyor features

  • Conveyor auto-split feature, to implement an ability to markin large orders, but have those orders split into smaller parts as they are loaded onto the assembly conveyor
  • Ability to assemble orders by the first items on the conveyor that will complete the order piece count
  • New reconciliation and utilize interface for all interfaces
  • Report showing all items and invoices on automated assembly conveyor
  • "Conveyor Waiting Items" and "Conveyor Waiting Items (Crossover)" reports
